Penguin Achieves Ultimate Honour

Penguin Frank Halai achieves the ultimate honour by playing for the All Blacks in their first match of the 2013 spring tour to the Northern Hemisphere. Frank played on the wing in the 54-6 win against Japan in Tokyo on 2nd Nov 2013 and scored a try on debut.

Frank played for the Penguins in the 2009 Hong Kong 10s. Frank has played ITM cup for Waikato and currently Counties Manukau, plays Super 15 rugby for the Blues and has also played for the All Black 7s team.

Penguin coach on that trip John McKittrick said at the time that Frank had a bright future due to his power, no nonsense attitude and feel for the game.
