Result: Penguin’s 33 - 33 Falklands taskforce Team

A Penguin International side played the Falklands taskforce Team, a combined services team, as part of the 25th anniversary of the Falklands conflict. The match was played on 16 June 2007 at the Stoop in London in front of a crowd of 3000.

In a fast moving match the Task Force team lead 33-26 with 90 seconds remaining. The Penguins never say die attitude paid off and a converted try as the last play of the game levelled the scores.

In addition the Penguin Coaching Academy ran a session for local children which culminated in a small tournament with the final played as the curtain raiser to the main match.
