Malaysia Schools Coaching 2005

Coaches: Grant McKelvey (Scottish Rugby Union) and Sailosi Nawavu (Fiji 7s)

As part of the COBRA 10s tournament, the club supplied two dedicated coaches to assist in the COBRA schools rugby development programme. Grant McKelvey and Sialosi Nawavu (Baravi Exiles and Fiji) spent 3 days travelling around Kuala Lumpur and surrounding areas, visiting two schools per day and running a 90 to 120 minute session at each school. They provided general coaching to school rugby players aged 10 to 16 in addition to discussing coaching techniques with the school teacher rugby coaches.
