Oxford University 14 v Penguin International XV 31

The Penguins regained the Alan Wright Trophy with a hard fought but well deserved victory at Iffley Road, Oxford. In front of a busy crowd the match kicked off in monsoon like conditions. Both teams did well in the circumstances to play so much rugby but in the first half it was the defences that were in the ascendancy.
